What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of a web designer? As for me it’s talent, great web design skills, never-ending creativity, portfolio, original websites, extraordinary ideas, and etc. Web designers may or may not have advanced degrees. Many website designers are self-taught, starting on their own and learning design skills and design languages as they develop pages.
It’s not a secret that designers are considered to be extremely creative people. This post aims to review some of the most impressive websites that belong to famous web designers. Talented designers are always busy with someone else’s projects and we are going to see if the proverb “ever busy, ever bare” is a right one.
No doubt each web designer is like a trendsetter in the world of web design. So let’s see the way designers express themselves while they create their own websites. Do they follow any web design trends or they simply design the way they feel?

We’ve just seen 7 personal websites that belong to different web designers. Seems there is no a common rule for creating personal designer’s portfolio. Each designer proves to be a unique personality and each of them accomplishes this goal in his/her own way.
We thank all designers for giving us a pleasure to explore their websites and wish their portfolios attract new clients, friends and colleagues.

I think that its important for Designers to keep in mind SEO points when designing their sites. It would certainly help one and all. Now days Search engines are influencing design of many sites …big or small

Thats true, what about the websites made by web designers for customers? As didgital templates said it is very important to keep SEO in mind while designing. Many of designers do not have much knowledge of SEO which makes us work at the last moment. Same has happened with greenfin.ae which i am trying to do SEO and its giving me lot of problems.

@Usha: Greenfin.ae is a notorious company. I was hired to promote fake jobs for them on couple of their “new” projects. I spent a lot of time making posts and generating traffic for them but in the end, the dumped me without paying my charges.
