Getting quality links to your website can be a major issue in SEO. Internet marketing almost demands backlinks, especially if you are in a highly competitive are of search keywords. This is the kind of project that you should do yourself or at least participate in so that you will get a better understanding of SEO, internet marketing and backlinks.
I have outlined seven of the best and easiest ways to get your backlinking up to par.
1) Make sure to request a reciprocal link from a webmaster when you see a reciprocal link form. Directories, resource pages, blogs and other websites that have content in your area.
2) Deep linking should be done by embedding your partner’s link into relevant text on a page other than your directory page, and your partner should do this for you as well.
3) Link from your signature of every email you send and in and all of your forum posts.
4) When you leave a comment on another websites or blog or the comment form on any website - also leave a link. Your link is usually saved as attached to your comment.
5) Submit your website with links to niche and general directories - there are many free or low cost directories.
6) Write articles with your content area and post them into article syndicating service websites - with your backlink in the resource box. Submit your original articles to highly trafficked websites with a high page rank and high position in SERPs.
7) You can send in written and unsolicited testimonials and reviews about a website or their products directly to webmasters. In exchange they may very well use your review and your link.
Using some creativity you can benefit your backlinking partners and yourself, build backlinks, gain credibility with the search engines SEO, while you gain valuable relationships with your link partners for better internet marketing.
