Flash webpages have not been my favorite thing. Mostly because they take a long time to load. Sometimes because they are stupid or irrelevant to the meaning of the webpage - but somebody wanted a cartoon or a hallucinogenic peak experience on their website. Sometimes the Flash page needs for you to get a special download etc. If you have to use a different or old computer, or you have a worthless ISP, or you have a bad host, or if you have to work from different locations these Flash webpages can be a lot less than entertaining (oooooh! I wanted to use much stronger words just then, but I’m trying to control myself better).
Lately, I have come to appreciate the Flash Webpages that look good, function easily, don’t waste my time, and don’t abuse my attention (see, I didn’t say “and don’t piss me off”).
Four examples of Flash Webpages that do the job well, look and sound beautiful, and were made for one of my favorite things come from Template Monster. They are based on Wine Bistros or Winery Restaurants themes. Have a look at these state-of-the-art Flash webpages.

I ask you, are these clean, elegant, attractive? Great visual and auditory presentations.

The sites you’ve linked to are wonderful examples of aesthetic design, however, having the music play automatically is rather annoying IMO.
I guess, to each his own.

I liked the music but I leave the volume so low on my computer that I had to turn it up. The microsoft sounds are a turn off for me.
