Well, I think a blog about Website Templates has to to be template conscious. And besides I felt the old one was routine in appearance. After all we need to be interesting but easy on the eyes for you visual-others. I can’t say I have the bottom line on aesthetics but a fella has gotta try.
So, tell me, how does it look? If you want to comment just describe your blog reading experience and don’t hold back. I chose this Wordpress theme for several reasons: easy on the eyes, interesting contrast in colors and light versus dark areas between articles,
good spatial considerations. Yes, I looked around and I got a killer deal at Template Monster on WordPress theme#11296.
The transaction and download went very smoothly with Template Monster and customer support was right there with me the whole way. Hope your shopping experience is just as much fun.

I’m not a programmer or designer and am just getting starting with blogs. Is it very difficult to take a WordPress template and get it up and running? When you purchase a WordPress theme template, do you get step-by-step idiot proof instructions from Template Monster? Thanks… Monica

Yes, they give the instructions in the readme.txt file.
“To add a new theme to your WordPress nstallation, follow these basic steps:
1. Download the theme archive and extract the files. You need to preserve the directory structure in the archive when extracting these files.
Using an FTP client to access your host web server, create a directory to contain your theme in the wp-content/themes directory provided by WordPress. For example, a theme named “th_theme” should be in wp-content/themes/th_theme.
2. Upload the theme files to the new directory on your host server.
3. To select the active theme for your site:
Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
Select the “Presentation” subpanel.
Click on the preview for the theme you wish to activate.
To view the new look, click “View Site” at the top of the Panel’s screen.
Your selection should immediately become active.”
