An interesting discussion on how many sketches, mock-ups (use the name you like most) should the designer represent to his client.
There’re many approaches… As many as designers actually. I believe though that true designer will represent the only variant which will work for the client’s business. There’s another point that the client may not like the represented solution this is the moment when a project manager should appear with his communication skills to explain why the represented design is the best even if the client feels unsure about it.
The point is that designers should not satisfy the client but clients of thier client.
