TemplateMonster.com has decorated its logo. Looks very funny and the hat really suits the monster.
BasicTemplates.com announced with their blog that they offer St. Patrick’s Day Web Graphics but I failed to find it with their site. Bug? Probably… Hope they will fix it soon so I could have a look at the graphics.
Paul from CSS Vault has just launched a new project of his: CSS Library.
Currently, there are seven articles (all contributed by Paul). Five in CSS Basics and a couple in Last added. Paul welcomes everybody to join the project as an author promising to save all the credits.
TemplateMonster.com has added a new product line today – Icon Sets.
Icon Set includes 10 icons (with the same theme as a rule, like they were designed for the same project) of good quality. Currently, there’re ten icon sets available but Template Monster promises to add two new Icon Sets daily.
There are 5 related products with TemplateMonster currently:
Flash Intros
Logo Templates
Corporate Identity Templates
Logosets
Icon Sets
I wonder what will be the next product line with this company. They tend to ‘sets’ recently.
Maybe Web-Template-Set?
“Drawn! site is a multi-author blog devoted to illustration, art, cartooning and drawing. Its purpose is to inspire creativity by sharing links and resources.”
What is really good about it is that they update it very often (5-10 times a day). The links they post there is VERY interesting!
Drawn! is of no doubt worth visiting regularly or even bookmarking or RSSing…
TemplateHeaven.com has redesigned its site this week. Now it looks more corporate, but I liked the previous version more, as it was more stylish (the site design and the templates offered were developed with the same style). I think TemplateHeaven.com has lost much credibility with this new design.
Another disadvantage (or bug, I don’t know which it is) is that on the first page they claim to offer featured templates, but there have been no featured templates for three days already! The section is empty and it makes visitors think that the site doesn’t work … very misleading. I think they should fix it immediately, though I really doubt that they will do it soon.
Template Tuning a project specializing on website templates customization appeared with a new design on Friday 04.
What are the main changes?
1. They still have dedicated project managers working 24/7. ![]()
2. They stayed with the same colors though there’ve made some changes.
3. The site was developed with XHTML 1.0 and CSS2 and validates with W3C.
4. Short term change but one of the pleasing is that they offer 10% discount for all their services!
The only thing I do complaint about is that they do not have sitemap but the site is rather complicated (it’s not a homepage-of-five-pages) and sitemap could be of great help.
For those who will have some problems with it go to “Support” with the main navigation bar. This page is like a second-in-sitemap.
I’ve just joined newezone.com - an online community with a webmaster *Twist*.
Why I write about this event?
Well…
They offer a couple of templates, though the design is rather… simple they have lots of other attractive features like:
• Written 99% in CSS (Not Tables).
• Works in all the latest browsers.
• Is 100% valid html 4.0
• Is search engine friendly.
• Uses very little code and only one table for fast page loading speed.
• Can wrap to any browser screen width, even 680px if the top banner isn’t displayed.
• Totally free, but we’ll eventually have some premium ones too.
They are not available for download yet but will be soon as Leonard Wass, aka MrLeN – site admin and the author of the templates promises.
What I really like about the templates is that they go with a special tour introducing the the template not with a bad old ‘Lorem Ipsum’
Yahoo! turns 10 years today. They do not expect presents from anybody but give out Baskin-Robbins to all their registered users (the only note: to get the ice-cream you have to be lucky enough to live in the supported area).
Mmmmmmm….
It’s the last thing I expected them to do on their anniversary. Anyhow, going to get my portion of baskin-robbins now.
And bon appetit to all yahoo users!
is the gallery of css templates represented by Mediando Communications – an Italian ISP.
The templates are contributed by different designers (if you like you are welcome to join as contributor). There’s a good search for templates though there’re not so many of them (32 items in total).
I think that the project can become rather popular soon due to its openness and simplicity.
is a new magazine on images of all kinds:
MakingRoom is a magazine about the process, intention and results of image-making.
They feature three photographers (interviews + projects) with their first number: Robyn Cumming with In Place, Jason Fulford’s Crushed, and Phil Bergerson with Shards of America.
Besides, they have three galleries of Julie West, Sophie Olmsted, and Christine Robinson.
The interviews are rather interesting. I especially liked Jason Fulford both ‘images’ and interview.
His works… they are sad and confusing at the same time. Not sure what I like most his photos or his speaking on his works.
I thought that I prefer pure images without comments BUT if there’re some I can’t help reading them! In this case my perception of them becomes not so pure but rather spoiled with comments (somebody else’s perception). Such a situation irritates me terribly but I still can’t see the way out.
